Wellington

After battling  through a stormy night by the sea

We made a fairly uneventful drive to the ferry which would take us over to the North Island.

We arrived in Wellington late-evening, pretty overwhelmed by the motorway that faced us. After a week of windy 2-lane roads a motorway was the last thing we wanted at 11pm. Still, we made it and the next day was open for fun.

After some very helpful advice from a friend of a friend living in Wellington, we had a wander along the waterfront before heading to Te Papa, New Zealand’s Museum.

Before long, our tummies started rumbling. Surprise surprise. We made our way to Cuba Street (pretty much the coolest road in Wellington) to grab a bite to eat.

From this point onwards, my camera was discarded for a lamb shank and a glass of wine. Sorry guys
